With the second round of the 2025 Hertz FIM Trial World Championship – the TrialGP of Portugal – due to take place this coming weekend (11-13 April) at Viana do Castelo on the Atlantic coast, close to the border with Spain, the FIM is delighted to confirm the series’ Official Partners.

Organising this season’s seven-round series – that runs from April until September across seven countries and three continents – is a major undertaking and one that would not be possible without the ongoing support of the FIM’s committed Official Partners.

This will be the sixth consecutive season that Hertz has been onboard as series’ Title Sponsor with the American car rental giant, that was founded in Chicago in 1918, first putting its name to the FIM Trial World Championship in 2020.

Producing high-quality products that are synonymous with safety, design and performance, Italian helmet manufacturer AIROH was founded in 1997 and is committed to the constant development of its products utilising ultra-high-tech materials and cutting-edge processes as it continues to set new standards of safety and usability.

Antonio Locatelli, CEO and Founder of AIROH, said: “Over the years we’ve collected a lot of great memories and many unforgettable moments and for this reason we are so proud to support the FIM for another season of TrialGP. Having the opportunity to watch the show from the front row and be able to support a championship of this level is really a great pleasure. The opening round in Spain was fantastic and we can’t wait to discover what will happen in Portugal this weekend!

An Official Partner for the first time this season, for over one-hundred years Swiss lubrication specialist MOTOREX has been synonymous with high-quality, top-performing products and services and for many years has collaborated closely with manufacturers and racing teams, resulting in one-hundred-and-seventy-seven individual FIM World Championship titles.

Andreas Vetter, Director of MOTOREX Powersports, said: “Trial is one of the most technically demanding disciplines in off-road motorsports where precision, control and absolute reliability are key. These are exactly the values we stand for at MOTOREX – precision, quality and maximum performance, backed by years of experience.

As an Official Partner of FIM TrialGP, we’re excited to bring our technical expertise and passion into this fascinating sport. With targeted solutions like our specially developed Trial gear oil, we support riders and teams where it matters most – in every detail that drives performance.

Renewing its agreement as an Official Partner, Italian manufacturer Formaboots prides itself on constant innovation, using premium quality materials and developing its products in the exacting arena of top-level competition to ensure uncompromisingly high standards of safety and usability.

Fabio Mecella, Formaboots General Manager, said: “We’re excited to continue the partnership with the FIM and the TrialGP series which gives us great visibility worldwide. Being linked to the FIM and TrialGP is for us a source of great pride. Formaboots is a global brand which offers quality and safe boots both for amateur riders and professionals at the highest level. Our brand is well-known for its quality and our mission is to keep on improving.

British company OSET has been at the vanguard of the electric Trial movement from the outset. With origins that extend back over two decades, OSET remains committed to the development and production of competitive, eco-friendly motorcycles for young riders aged three years and upwards.

Ian Smith, OSET founder and CEO, said: “OSET as a brand is Trial through and through. Almost all the top-level riders from the UK learned their core skills on our bikes including Jack Dance, Harry Turner and the Hemingway brothers. We are excited to partner with TrialGP for the second year running and hope to keep putting out the message that OSET is the best place to start for any rider!

An Official Partner of the FIM Trial World Championship since 2019, Spanish off-road clothing and parts manufacturer S3 produces a huge selection of hard parts along with its high-quality ranges of riding kit and casual wear and will provide the prize-giving backdrops as well as staff clothing, riding gear for section advisers and bibs for the assistants, observers, marshals and officials.

An S3 spokesperson said: “We are proud to announce a new season of collaboration with the FIM, within the discipline’s most prestigious championship – TrialGP. This solid cooperation, built up over many years, reflects our shared commitment to excellence and the development of Trial at all levels.
Thanks to this alliance, the world’s best athletes, young hopefuls and female riders benefit from unique exposure in what is, without doubt, the finest showcase for our sport. Together, let’s make Trial shine!

Honda and its Spanish subsidiary Montesa have made an indelible mark on Trial, dominating the modern-day sport with the great Toni Bou winning the first of his – so far – thirty-seven consecutive FIM TrialGP and FIM X-Trial World Championship titles in 2007.

The Japanese giant’s success in the series, however, extends back to 1982 when Belgium’s Eddy Lejeune won the first of his three consecutive crowns and Montesa’s impact goes back even further to 1980 when Sweden’s Ulf Karlson won the marque’s first FIM Trial World Championship before further titles were achieved by Marc Colomer, Dougie Lampkin and Takahisa Fujinami.

This season Bou will be aiming to win the TrialGP title for an unparallelled nineteenth straight time – with one of the main challengers expected to be his Honda Repsol HRC team-mate and 2024 vice-champion Gabriel Marcelli – and attention will also be focussed on Miquel Gelabert who will give Honda’s brand-new RTL Electric its FIM Trial World Championship debut in this year’s Trial2 class.

With an illustrious history that stretches back one-hundred-and-twenty years, Italian motorcycle manufacturer Beta is world-renowned for its off-road machines and enjoys global success in Trial, Motocross and Enduro and has won the premier FIM Trial World Championship on seven separate occasions.

Donato Miglio, Beta Factory Team Manager, said: “Betamotor is a company that has a very long history in the two-wheel sector and has been actively supporting the promotion of Trial, investing in competitions and in developing models for motorcyclists of all levels, from the first steps on a motorbike to world level competitions.

The Beta range covers all age groups, from electric minibikes for children from six years upwards to motorbikes for professional riders. The company has always excelled in innovation and variety in the segment with models such as the Mini E, the 80cc, and the 125/200/250/300cc two-stroke and 300cc four-stroke motorbikes, establishing itself as a reference point for the discipline.

For all these reasons, Beta is pleased to take part in the 2025 FIM Trial World Championship and work together with the FIM to constantly innovate the discipline for the common benefit of riders and spectators.

Fabio Muner, FIM Marketing and Digital Director, said: “With another Hertz FIM Trial World Championship season now under way it is fantastic to be able to rely on such strong support from so many well-respected Official Partners. The ongoing backing and commitment from these companies is invaluable if we are to continue to develop the sport at the highest level and deliver a series worthy of FIM World Championship status so, on behalf of the FIM, I would like to thank them.
