It was certainly a weekend of mixed fortunes at Valsassina for the TrialGP of Italy – round three of the 2024 Hertz FIM Trial World Championship – where reigning TrialGP champion Toni Bou (Montesa) took his fifth consecutive day victory on a very wet Saturday before Jaime Busto (GASGAS) found his form to end his fellow Spaniard’s win-streak on a much sunnier Sunday. In Trial2 Arnau Farre (Sherco) claimed victory on the opening day before Jack Peace (Sherco) led home a British clean sweep of Sunday’s podium to retake the championship lead while reigning Trial3 champion George Hemingway (Beta) was again unbeaten over both days.
