Returning to Europe after the action-packed visit to Taisei Rotec TrialGP of Japan, round four of the 2023 HERTZ FIM TrialGP World Championship saw riders battle against challenging conditions. Mastering all to take a double event win, Toni Bou (Montesa) managed to open up a small but all-important advantage at the top of the TrialGP series standings. On day one Bou headed a Montesa one-two ahead of his team-mate Gabriel Marcelli, with Jaime Busto (GASGAS) third. On day two it was Busto who pushed Bou the hardest, the pair separated by just two marks at the end of the day, with local favourite Matteo Grattarola third on his return to Beta.
