Entries for the 2024 FIM Trial des Nations (TdN) – scheduled for Pobladura de las Regueras in Spain on 21-22 September – will open this coming Monday (3 June).

An annual competition to determine the world’s leading Trial nation, the event features separate classes for premier male and female teams along with the second-tier FIM International Trophy plus the FIM Challenge des Nations for mixed-gender two-rider teams.

The event’s history can be traced back to 1984 when the competition for male riders was first held. The FIM International Trophy was introduced in 1995 and a female category added in 2000. The FIM Challenge des Nations debuted in 2022.

Having won every year since 2004, Spain is the dominant force in the male category while the female TdN title is currently held by Great Britain. Last year at Auron in France the team from Japan won the FIM International Trophy for the first time and victory in the FIM Challenge des Nations went to a Norwegian pairing.

National Federations can begin the registration process by sending an account request email to entries@trialgp.com. The deadline for TdN team entries is sixty days prior to the event although entries will still be accepted up to thirty days before, but they will be liable for a late-entry administration fee. Once entered, National Federations have until thirty days before the event to name team riders.
