12/06/17 – Ahead of the TrialGP Andorra this coming weekend, it was the turn of the Spanish riders to turn the attentions to their domestic series, with the third round of the 2017 campaign taking place in Arnedillo, which is situated midway between Bilbao and Zaragoza.

The weather and conditions were typically Spanish with the sun beating down on the dry and dusty outcrops that defined the national competition. Unsurprisingly it was Toni Bou – Repsol Honda who ran out the comfortable winner to extend his unbeaten run in all competitions since the start of the year.

Adam Raga – TRS was the best of the rest coming home twelve marks behind Bou, but three marks better than third placed Jeroni Fajardo – Vertigo. The podium sitters finished well clear of the rest of the field with Jaime Busto – Repsol Honda and Jorge Casales – Beta rounding out the top five someway off the pace of the leading trio.

Miquel Gelabert – Sherco beat his more established team mate Albert Cabestany – Sherco for the second time this season in the domestic campaign, as this duo ended the day sixth and seventh respectively. Arnau Farre – Gas Gas in eighth spot got the better of his team mate James Dabill – Gas Gas who struggled again in the non-British conditions and finished in a lowly ninth position just in front of Oriol Noguera – Gas Gas who closed out the top ten.

All of the top ten riders will be back in action this coming weekend as the TrialGP series comes back to life in the mountains of Andorra.
