Spanish brake and clutch manufacturers Braktec are the latest brand to become an official partner of the TrialGP series, with the long established firm having recently reached an agreement with championship promoters for the 2018 season, with an option to extend the relationship beyond the initial term.

Braktec components are synonymous with the sport of Trial as is fitted by several of the leading motorcycle manufacturers in this sector as original equipment, as well as being used by the World best riders like Toni Bou and Adam Raga to mention just two key names.

Part of the J.Juan Group that was founded back in 1947, Braktec joins other blue chip companies such as Red Bull, Michelin, Alpinestars, Jitsie, Rock Oil and Hope as recognised partners of the 2018 TrialGP series that will consist of eight events in eight different countries over an intense four-month period. This truly global schedule will provide maximum exposure via its many platforms for Braktec and the other associated brands.

Speaking about this important development TrialGP Championship Director Jake Miller said. “Braktec first approached us midway through last season having been impressed with the transformation of the series compared to previous editions. Since our initial meeting at TrialGP Andorra last summer we have had an ongoing dialogue about various opportunities and are pleased that Braktec have decided to come on board at the highest level and as one of our limited number of official partners.”

Miller closed by saying. “We are really looking forward to working with Braktec and promoting and activating their brand along with our other partners both at the actual events, which this year stretch from Europe across to Japan, as well as via our growing social medial channels and our strong online presence.”

Juan Ceprian, commenting on behalf of Braktec, said “For us, it is a very important step for our brand. We believe seriously in Trial, and we have been present in the FIM Trial World Championship since 2012 with our brake and clutch systems. We hope this year will be the first of many years as an official partner of TrialGP.”

The 2018 TrialGP series gets underway in May with TrialGP Spain being the opening event of the new campaign.
